Delete your ThymeIt data

ThymeIt has no account and no server, so there’s nothing for us to delete and no request to send. Everything is on your phone, and in your own cloud account if you used backup.

1. Delete the app

Deleting ThymeIt from your phone deletes your garden, tasks and settings from the phone straight away.

  • iPhone: touch and hold the ThymeIt icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App.
  • Android: touch and hold the ThymeIt icon, tap App info, then Uninstall.

2. Delete your automatic backup (if you turned it on)

Turning off automatic backup in ThymeIt stops new backups but leaves the last one in your account. To delete it:

iPhone (iCloud)

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name, then iCloud.
  2. Tap Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage).
  3. Tap ThymeIt, then Delete Data from iCloud.

Android (Google Drive)

  1. On a computer, open drive.google.com signed in to the same Google account.
  2. Click the gear icon, then Settings, then Manage apps.
  3. Find ThymeIt, click Options, then Delete hidden app data.

To also remove ThymeIt’s access to your Google account, go to myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services and remove ThymeIt.

3. Garden files you saved (if any)

If you used Move to another phone, delete the thymeit-garden-….json file from wherever you saved or sent it.

Your phone’s own backups

Device backups you made before deleting the app (iCloud device backup, Google’s device backup) can contain ThymeIt’s data until they’re replaced by newer backups or deleted in your iCloud or Google account settings.
